Bing Paid Ads
“Why do we still use PPC ads with Bing?”
I get this question all the time, usually followed by: “Isn’t the most searched term on Bing ‘Google’?”
It’s true Bing has often operated in the shadow of Google’s giant ‘G’ But with a new innovative strategy of trying to grow its market share, Bing might just be the upcoming place for getting that return on investment.
Not only is the PPC price cheaper, but Bing’s new operating strategy has seen them become the default search engine for any Windows device. This means anyone searching via Siri, Amazon Echo, Xbox, Windows mobile and more, will be utilising and exposed to Bing's ads and search results.
With a 24.5% market share in 2019 and growing, Bing simply can’t be overlooked when it comes to PPC investment.

Benefits when Recruiting
I read an interesting statistic yesterday. Job seekers are willing to sacrifice up to 12% of their salary for training and flexibility.
Recruitment is a tough climate to get stuck into at the moment, and our clients are always looking for benefits to offer prospective hires. But we hear time and time again that they feel they should be offering bonuses they can’t afford. As fantastic as joining bonuses are, companies need to think outside the box.
PWC reports 37% of candidates would take a lower salary for more upskilling opportunities, and 51% would accept a drop in pay for more flexibility.
What outside the box solutions do you try when it comes to employment benefits?

Being Present
‘Work hard, play hard’.
I can’t count how many times I’ve heard this phrase, but it’s only in the past couple of years I’ve truly understood the importance of it. My focus and ability to be switched on in a professional environment is directly affected by allowing time for myself. The word ‘self-care’ is thrown around a lot, but finding what it means for you is a fantastic way to unlock your potential, and put the best you forward in all aspects of your life.
I started putting this into practice when a close friend told me about her weekly cycle class helping her focus on a project, so in the interest of sharing, here are a couple of ways I like to relax, to ensure my brain show’s up for the important stuff. I call them my 3 M’s.
-
Morning Movement. Whether it’s hitting the gym or going for a morning walk, starting my morning moving allows me to start the work day clear, wide-awake, and ready to take on the world!
-
Morning Mindfulness. For just 5 minutes, I do a guided mindfulness session. I surprised myself by saying this ‘M’ has made the biggest difference for me.
-
Morning Me-time. Okay, this one isn’t strictly in the morning. But doing something I enjoy on a regular basis, just for me. There was a time I felt stressed at the idea of not doing something productive, but I realised time for myself is not wasted time, and in turn allows for more productivity in work, but also personal growth.
If you have some tips on how you relax to be your best self, I’d love to hear it!
